Four Fox Saké
Four Fox Saké is a new ultra-premium sake from Hong Kong-based Distinguished Den Distribution. We were hired to design a visual identity, custom bottle, and website.
As a tribute to Inari Okami, the Japanese mythological god of rice, saké, swordsmiths and foxes, we designed a custom crest displaying four foxes guarding the Torii gate, with snowfall overhead and rice fields at their feet. Elegantly embossed swords in the label pay homage to legendary swordsmiths. The bottle’s chrome finish and wooden cap are a modern take on ancient elements. Web design included a one-page site to tell a succinct story and showcase the beauty of the bottle through subtle movement.
