The architect Arthur Erickson designed Moraine Lake Lodge and its luxurious cabins located in Banff National Park. Every room provides a view of Moraine Lake, the Valley of the Ten Peaks, and the surrounding glaciers of the Rocky Mountains.

After years with an operative logo, Moraine Lake Lodge needed a refreshed brand that would appeal to long-time guests and an emerging Instagram set. The new visual identity imparts the elegance of the Lodge’s natural setting and functions seamlessly across physical and digital applications. We designed a refined wordmark with Rockies-inspired sharp cuts on the letterforms. The icon was conceived as a rough-cut jewel, appearing to fill the Rockies themselves with the teal water central to the Moraine Lake Lodge experience.
